I had one of my all to infrequent catch ups with John Ward at the Slog earlier this afternoon
as ever we agree on many things but as John says we seem to arrive at similar positions having read a different book and having approached from different directions.
Antiestablishmentarianism.
We are not enemy’s of the state “They Are”. Michael Gove famously gave us his newly minted definition of extremism , it was at some point in the past month or so, What it is and when it was is of absolutely no importance, what so ever.
Michel Gove is an extremist he stands for an extreme world view devoid of any sort of civic compass it is he who has no business defining what an extremist is , he is one and, as we all know Turkeys do not vote for Christmas.
I am a member of the Establishment , we have a current set of people claiming to represent the State and be our elected representitives or legitamate leaders of our institutions and great companies. Many of These “promoted” people are impostors, they are not representatives of the Establishment and the sooner we all start naming them for the impostors they are and reclaiming our own rightful descriptions as the real establishment and the real democratic state the sooner we can remove the nare do wells passing themselves off using titles and claiming to be fulfilling roles they are neither qualified to perform or sufficiently invested in to even care about the effects of their corruption.
So that’s the starting point in this Sit Rep special for the slog we need to Re- Occupy the Establishment.

From a Bumper Sticker perspective we have to ram home our Real Life Experience advantage its only in the realms of " Pseudo Intelligence " that the absurdity presented as policy has any legitimacy or logical substance. Heres another link one of my favourites from CS Pearce.

But since, evidently, not all ideas are true, he was led to note, as the first condition of infallibility, that they must be clear. The distinction between an idea seeming clear and really being so, never occurred to him. Trusting to introspection, as he did, even for a knowledge of external things, why should he question its testimony in respect to the contents of our own minds?

For my own personal point and perspective I would add both of these Gentleman are every bit a part of the Establishment as I am or the rest of us are. The normative rather than perjoritive sense of Establishment is what I am talking about.
